Tears of a Woman

.
0 say something

A little boy asks his mother:

Why do you cry?

Because I am a woman, she answers.

I don't understand, he says.

His mother hugs him and says: And you never will. Later the little boy asks his father: Why does Mommy cry? All women cry for no reason, is all that his father could answer him.

When he became an adult he asked God: God, why do women cry so easily?

And God answered:

When i created woman, she needed to be special. I created her shoulders strong enough to bear the weight of the world and soft enough to be comfortable.

I gave her the strength to give life, the kind that accepts the rejection that often comes from children.

I gave her the strength to allow her to go on when everybody else give up. The kind that takes care of her family, despite illness and fatigue.

I gave her the sensitivity to love her children unconditionally, even when they have hurt her deeply.

I gave her the strength to endure her husband in his faults and to stay at his side without weakening.

And finally, I gave her tears to shed whenever she needs them to be shed.

You see my son, the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, nor is it in her face, or the in the way she does her hair.

The beauty of a woman resides in her eyes. It is the door to her hear, the door where LOVE resides.

And it is often through her tears that you see her heart go by.

We should be proud we are created as WOMEN!!!!
A salute to all women out there!

How old is old?

.
0 say something

This was my very first tag from Kreez, a batchmate from college. I felt really excited upon seeing my very first tag here in blogosphere. Am not a dedicated blogger, due to my hectic schedule from work and school andI seldom update my blog. How i wish i could really find time everyday just to write and express my inner self through writing. A very good outlet to ease pressures from work and to reduce stress.
Anyway, upon seeing this question "How old is old?", had so many answers in mind. We all know that most of us are really afraid of getting old. I, myself was guilty of that. Maybe because we really didn't know what the future holds for us. Being old is just a state of mind. I don't believe reaching a certain age are signs of getting old. When someone retired from work at at the age of 65, it does not follow that he/ she was really old.

Most adults over age 50 feel at least 10 years younger than their actual age, the survey found. One-third of those between 65 and 74 said they felt 10 to 19 years younger, and one-sixth of people 75 and older said they felt 20 years younger.

Old age is really a psychological state of mind. As long as you have the desire to live and wants to share your life to other people, nobody in this world, would feel that they're getting older. Having a positive happy outlook and contentment will be the best ingredient to stay young at heart every single day!

A Christian's Way To Reduce Stress

An Angel says, "Never borrow from the future. If you worry about what may happen tomorrow and it doesn't happen, you have worried in vain. Even if it does happen, you have to worry twice."

1. Pray.

2. Go to bed on time.

3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.

4. Say No to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health.

5. Delegate tasks to capable others.

6. Simplify and unclutter your life.

7. Less is more.. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.)

8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places.

9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together.

10. Take one day at a time.

11. Separate worries from concerns. If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety. If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it.

12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases.

13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc.

14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble.

15. Do something for the Kid in You everyday.

16. Carry a Bible with you to read while waiting in line.

17. Get enough rest.

18. Eat right.

19. Get organized so everything has its place.

20. Listen to a tape while driving that can help improve your quality of life.

21. Write down thoughts and inspirations.

22. Every day, find time to be alone.

23. Having problems? Talk to God on the spot.. Try to nip small problems in the bud. Don't wait until it's time to go to bed to try and pray.

24. Make friends with Godly people.

25. Keep a folder of favorite scriptures on hand.

26. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good "Thank you Jesus."

27. Laugh.

28. Laugh some more!

29. Take your work seriously, but not yourself at all.

30. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can).

31. Be kind to unkind people (they probably need it the most).

32. Sit on your ego.

33. Talk less; listen more.

34. Slow down.

35. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe

36. Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never been grateful for before. GOD HAS A WAY OF TURNING THINGS AROUND FOR YOU. "If God is for us, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31).
