A Week Before My Birthday

i never understood why i felt depressed these past few weeks. i don't know if i was only stressed from work or  life really sucks? i should be planning for my birthday bash, but sadly, i was busy figuring out myself... perhaps i am just over analyzing things, so many questions keep coming in to my head, still unanswered. sometimes i really hate myself. some people said that life is simple, that we are the ones making it complicated, but why is it that i still felt this way. i kept reminding myself that i deserve to be happy, it just that happiness is not my constant companion, but i believe that in due time, happiness will be on my side... i just have to keep the faith! Cheers to my upcoming 31st year on earth!

Friends Come and Go...

I hate goodbyes...really do! This is what i hate about my job. People come and go easily. But i know true friends are not measured by distance, rather they will always stay with you anywhere you are...
Unfortunately, one of my good friends here at the office bid goodbye yesterday, July 13, 2012. She needed to transfer to a new project where she could be happier. Goodluck friend, you will always be in my heart. We will still be seeing each other! Don't you worry that!

I have created a simple remembrance to Evelyn which was posted in my facebook account a few days ago and i wanna share it to you guys. Here it is:

sometimes prayer is all what i need...

Dear Father, the noise of the world is too great; the demands of the day too high. Things are happening so fast that they are over even before I begin to realize that they have come. I don’t know anymore which of the things I do makes any sense at all. I don’t know anymore where I am going though too often I find myself rushing about so much, afraid that I might be left behind if I care to find a single moment of peace. And yet this time I can no longer drag myself into the chaos where I chose to live. Cup after cup of brewed coffee could no longer give me the energy I need to finish loads and loads of paperwork that lay upon my desk. I pray to you dear Father. I pray for the peace you have promised us, a peace that transcends all understanding, a peace that never shatters with the most troubling shadows of the night. Silence the worries that lurk upon my mind, the fears that have only driven me to burnout and stress. In this moment of prayer, let there be silence. Let there be peace. Free me from my fears and calm my shaking nerves. Let me see clearly that which really matters in life. I offer you everything, that in my nothingness I may find all that I need. Your Presence is all that I need O God, and in your Holy Presence there is peace.

Prepping Up for my Vince's 7th Birthday

These past few months i was so busy planning for my bunso's 7th birthday. Vince was expecting to have a grand birthday prix on his special day. He chose Lightning Mcqueen to be his birthday theme and Jollibee for his venue. We were able to reserved the venue a month earlier just to make sure to get the best deal. I also ordered his customized Lightning McQueen cake plus 50 cupcakes for giveaways. This week am planning to send invites to our relatives and to his closest buddies in our neighborhood. By next week, maybe i'll decide if am going to book for a balloon supplier or i may have it done myself. Whew! 3 more weeks before the big event and i still have tons to do. Oh and i forgot, i need to visit Divisoria for his lootbags. 


I know, am not the celebrant, but i am so excited for him! I wanted to give him the best party he really deserved!

Language of Love

Love makes us do things we never thought we were capable of. It's when we love someone so deeply, sometimes we never think of our own happiness. It's when everyday is always a happy day. my little boy's crazy dance

it was past 7pm when i arrived at home and was so tired from work. just then my little boy Vince said that he would danced for me but in return i have to video tape his dance. i have no idea where he learned the steps and true enough he really made my night perfect! he was such a great dancer and am always a proud mom! and am sharing his 3-minute dance moves!!! Enjoy watching as i did!

My Christmas 2011 & New Year 2012

My Christmas 2011 was not that great compared last 2010. Maybe because this was our first Christmas without my Lolo Fredo. How i missed him so much! I missed his presence especially during holidays, his laughters and unending jokes on his grandchildren (especially me). He always play jokes on me, i don't know why. (maybe am his favorite apo hahaha!!!) I missed him terribly. My Lola surely missed him a million times more than i do. I know, Lolo you're now in heaven with our Lord Almighty and i surely know you were always there to guide us all here. We love you so much! I will never ever forget you.

Fast forward to New Year's Eve, this time we spent our New Year at my in-law's new home in Paranaque. This was my 1st time to celebrate New Year with them. Here's some of our family photos ...

Thank God I Am 30!!!

I never thought turning a year older or i may say, saying goodbye to my twenties and saying hello to thirties would bring so much happiness and surprises!!! I don't usually celebrate my birthday, simply because i don't want to spend too much. But this year was different. I wanted to celebrate welcoming my thirty years with a blast. And true enough, my 30th birthday celeb was so amazing!!! I was so thankful i have my family and close friends with me on this special day.

And another thing, this year, i never expected to have such wonderful surprises on my birthday!

SURPRISE #2  After that simple salo-salo in the office, my Admin Sir Jo gave me that surprise gift from a mysterious guy. Guess who this mysterious guy is? It's no other than my hubby, Dan.

 I never imagined Dan would be giving me a surprise gift on my birthday. Really no idea at all. He planned it so well!!! A long stem red rose and a box of my fave Ferrero!!! Really made my day lovelier!!!

3 more days to go....

When i was still a child, i used to count how many more days to go before my special day. I don't know why, maybe am just too excited...hahaha!!!! But as i get older, as time goes by, these excitement just faded away, and my special day would just be simply an ordinary day for me till this Oct 2011 came. The same excitement which i used to feel during my childhood days are here again!!! Maybe because i am too excited to turn 30 this year!!! Oh no! I am 30!!! Soon i'll be celebrating my big 3-0 day!!! And one more thing, this year i would be post celebrating my special day with my friends here in Laguna. So this coming week, i'll be busy prepping up for my big 3-0 day!!! Am Blogging Again

After several months of neglecting this site, finally am back again blogging! I have so many things in mind to write about, but my own schedule forbids me to do the things i love doing...that is blogging! And today, while am busy working here at my table, i still find time to do my sideline thing, that is to write anything or everything that may cross my mind today. Hmmm... Well, to start off, am now enrolled again to CPAR and hopefully can take the CPA Board Exams this coming October..Uh-oh, that means, 2.5 months left for me to scan all my review materials for these 3 subjects and yet am not starting to do my review. I have written my own schedule on our wall just above our dining table for me to see what's my scheduled subject for that day, but still unable to follow those damn schedules...Aaargggh!!!! Really needed to catch up or i won't be able to take my board exam and that leaves me to wait until May 2011..  So help me God...

Papa Boy Had a Blast @ 55

It's my Papa's birthday last Nov 21, 2010, he just turned 55. It's a family get together once again.Yehey!!!! And my good sister Emie, treated the whole family a dinner @ Shakey's after our Sunday mass. It's a good thing that once in a while we had a family bonding like this to catch up with each other's lives. My sister & I have our own family now and we seldom see & talk with each other and this was a one way to have a chat with each other.

Fabulous @ Twenty Nine

Yay! It's another year for me! A year full of love and blessings from people whom i treasured much in my life. Am always be grateful to God for giving me a good health and a happy healthy family! Am not used to celebrating my birthday, i just cooked pasta for my kids last night and fry some liempo for my hubby! That's it! Just as simple as that. But as a treat for myself, am on leave today from work! I'll just relax the whole day and enjoy my special day with my kids. Hope honey will be home early!
